Green Tea / EGCG
Camellia sinensis
EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate) inhibits multiple cancer signalling pathways, reduces angiogenesis, induces apoptosis, and shows activity against breast, prostate, colon, and lung cancers. High green tea consumption is associated with significantly lower cancer risk in epidemiological studies across Asian populations.
