1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iOnco (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and practitioners.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Expanded)

iOnco is an informational platform. Nothing on this Platform — including user-submitted protocols, practitioner listings, AI chat responses, articles, or any other content — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Cancer treatment decisions involve complex medical, personal, and lifestyle factors that must be evaluated by qualified oncologists and healthcare professionals. User-submitted protocols reflect individual experiences only and may not be appropriate, safe, or effective for others.

iOnco expressly disclaims all liability for any harm, loss, or damages arising from reliance on content available on the Platform without professional medical consultation.

3. Use of the Platform

iOnco is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Prohibited uses include:

• Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated protocol data.
• Using the Platform for commercial solicitation without our written consent.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or practitioners.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Platform's systems.
• Impersonating healthcare professionals or falsely claiming credentials.

4. User-Generated Content

When you submit a protocol or other content to iOnco, you retain ownership of that content. By submitting, you grant iOnco a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and improving the service. You represent that your submitted content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe any third-party rights. iOnco reserves the right to moderate, remove, or flag any user-submitted content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

5. Practitioner Listings

Practitioners listed on iOnco are independent healthcare professionals. They are not employed by, affiliated with, or agents of iOnco. We verify credentials as part of the application process, but we do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the quality, suitability, or outcomes of any practitioner's services. Any engagement between a user and a practitioner is a private arrangement. iOnco is not liable for any outcomes, disputes, or damages arising from such arrangements.

6. Payments and Refunds

Premium subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable subscription rate. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We offer a 7-day refund policy — if you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal, contact us at legal@ionco.co for a full refund. Refunds are not available after the 7-day window.

7. Prohibited Uses

In addition to the restrictions in Section 3, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Scraping — automated extraction of data, protocols, or practitioner information using bots, crawlers, or scripts.
• False medical claims — asserting that any protocol or supplement cures, treats, or prevents cancer without credible clinical evidence.
• Impersonation — creating accounts or submissions that falsely represent another person, practitioner, or organisation.
• Commercial exploitation — reselling, licensing, or otherwise commercially exploiting Platform content without explicit written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms of Service, harmful behaviour, or any other reason we deem appropriate to protect the Platform and its community. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. You may also delete your own account at any time from your account settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of iOnco shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
