Goji Berry / Wolfberry
Lycium barbarum
Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs) and zeaxanthin show anti-tumour activity against liver, colon, and breast cancers by enhancing NK cell activity and inducing apoptosis. Used in TCM to tonify the kidney and liver. LBPs also improve eye health — important for cancer patients as treatment can damage vision.
