Wheatgrass Juice
Triticum aestivum (shoot)
Wheatgrass juice is rich in chlorophyll, superoxide dismutase (SOD), and P4D1 glycoprotein that stimulate red blood cell production. A clinical study in breast cancer patients showed wheatgrass juice significantly reduced chemotherapy-induced myelotoxicity and blood transfusion requirements during treatment, without interfering with chemotherapy efficacy.
