Tulsi / Holy Basil
Ocimum sanctum
Tulsi, the 'Queen of Herbs', has shown remarkable radioprotective properties — protecting normal cells from radiation damage while sensitising cancer cells to radiation therapy. Ursolic acid shows anti-cancer effects against leukemia, lung, and breast cancers. Eugenol and rosmarinic acid strongly modulate the immune system.
