Schisandra / Wu Wei Zi
Schisandra chinensis
Schisandra's lignans (schisandrin A, B, C) and polysaccharides show anti-tumour activity against liver, gastric, and breast cancers, and powerfully protect the liver from chemotherapy-induced damage. As an adaptogen, it reduces fatigue and improves mental clarity — both critically needed during cancer treatment.
