Pine Bark Extract / Pycnogenol
Pinus pinaster
Pycnogenol (maritime pine bark extract) contains procyanidins and phenolic acids that inhibit cancer cell proliferation, reduce NF-κB signalling, and prevent metastasis. Clinical studies show Pycnogenol significantly reduces venous thromboembolism (DVT/PE) risk — the leading non-cancer cause of death in cancer patients. It also reduces retinopathy and neuropathy from treatment.
