Ginkgo Biloba / Maidenhair Tree
Ginkgo biloba
Ginkgolides and bilobalide from Ginkgo biloba show anti-cancer activity against ovarian, colon, breast, and brain cancers through PAF inhibition and apoptosis induction. Clinically, Ginkgo combats chemotherapy-induced cognitive decline ('chemo brain') and peripheral neuropathy. Its microcirculation improvement also enhances drug delivery to tumours.
