Long Pepper / Pippali
Piper longum
Pippali (Long Pepper) contains piperine at higher concentrations than black pepper, plus piperlongumine — a compound with extraordinary selectivity for cancer cells (kills cancer cells while leaving normal cells unaffected). Piperlongumine has emerged as one of the most exciting natural anti-cancer compounds, with activity against breast, prostate, colon, and brain cancers.
