Astragalus / Huang Qi
Astragalus membranaceus
Astragalosides (particularly astragaloside IV) activate T-cells, NK cells, and macrophages. Clinical trials show astragalus combined with chemotherapy improves survival in lung and gastric cancer, reduces treatment side effects, and significantly improves quality of life. It is one of the most evidence-backed immune adjuvants for cancer.
